社科轉Data science潤歐陸可行嗎？

行管專業，雅思7.5，本科修过R，SPSS，Python相关课程。目标是欧陆DS硕，

因为听说欧陆非常看重专业匹配，因此目前正在考edx上的Professional Certificate in Data Science from Havard University。

选择这个课主要是它内容比较全，而且有成绩单，将来想拿这个成绩单申欧陆的DS专业，目标是毕业后留下工作，不知是否可行？想请各位过来人赐教，不胜感谢🙏

你得把感兴趣的项目列出来一个个对比你的背景看你可不可以申。你的情况申偏social science 的ds项目比较靠谱， 也可以考虑business analytics. 开ds项目的学院很多，这几年跟风开了很多，选对项目还是挺重要的。找工作的话企业喜欢偏cs的。这个你去一亩三分地看看吧。

看对接项目要求哪个先修课逐个补充就是了，不清楚直接邮件学校问看看接受不接受self learn。社科转ds应该挺适合的，🇺🇸这边都不少社科毕业去干data scientist。

那个certificate其实你也可以直接看看上对方网课，没记错1500刀一门不贵，主要是要有个好看的transcript，edx我不清楚

idk，如果你很需要个正牌的certificate来撑撑简历，那transcript越正规越好（比如Harvard那个continuing education里的），edx给的是什么样的我倒是没了解过。听起来你想靠这个professional certificate翻盘，那劝你多invest。

除了 Harvard的continuing education，Stanford也有给正规transcript的online course。就是价格贵了点 & 不知道你能拿多少A。拿不到A略浪费钱

这种证书欧洲基本上是没用的，不值得花钱，学着自己玩玩还可以。学校申请是要看本科的title，什么专业就是什么专业（尤其德国，比利时，奥地利还有aps审核，这个没办法改的），只有专业匹配了接下来才看多少学分什么成绩啥的。企业的话，小地方的hr可能都没有听过edx，大厂的hr当然是要根正苗红科班出身的CS/DSer。

你这种情况只能先申请到MA学位，过来在想办法。比如MA的学校辅修CS，重读本科或者做IT管理。

不难的话用二外直接搜啊。很多项目对比的网站。英语看不出啥的。或者你自己Python写爬虫数据挖掘一下。

不是让你直接申请CS硕士，而是说你即使学的是DS，肯定也要学编程，那你课外可以再自学软件开发方向的技术。我硕士就是AI专业的，系里也有DS专业，但是我们这俩专业出来的基本都是做开发，没人做DS。

DS这个岗位现在很多小公司没有了，都直接用大公司的分析服务。但是大公司的DS岗位对技术和理论要求都很高，别说你是转行来的，哪怕我们科班的都不一定能面试进去。

我感觉转码最容易的方向就是前端开发了，技术难度不大，岗位也不少。爱尔兰这边几个大学基本也只有前端相关的专业招转码来的学生。
