NZ government is gonna restrict immigration in the future, I recommend run友们 to prepare more cashes and study a degree after arriving NZ if you can get a WHV, rather than really just work for a year. I don't think WHV holders can apply resident visa directly in the future, according to recent policies. You may be eligible for transferring your visa to a common work visa, however, the government is gonna make big changes on work visa policies in July, so you also need to focus on them carefully.

And by the way, the living cost is so freaking high these days in NZ, especially food. Run友们 may check food price on Google map, or the online ordering website of NZ grocery stores such as Countdown and Parknsave. You may have to cook everyday.

However, under the circumstances in China right now, it is more important to run successfully first, and WHV is a good chance. Hope everyone can get the visa and start your run life!
