我所知道得情况是，美国的文科phd就算留不下来，也可以考虑去其他民主国家工作移民，身边就有几个这种例子。

语言一定要非常非常流利，那些没有Tenure Track的国家，年轻老师的上课任务都是很繁重的

如果你申请到的是岗位phd的话甚至有机会毕业就永居，奖学金phd的话麻烦一点还要找工作
