配偶工签不一定要找对口工作，你可以仔细看看对应省份的政策，安省和BC是0AB工作都可以，曼省CD类也可以，海洋省C类也可以。
0AB类工作的定义就是需要相关专业训练的工作。比如A类工作的定义是，需要本科以上学历。B类的定义是需要大专以上学历。你要是去找个厨师，那其实没人要你，因为你没学过厨师，不会干这个。所以要求找到0AB类工作，约等于要求专业对口工作。换句话说，你凭借你土木工程的学历，在加拿大要想找0AB类工作，那基本上也只能去找土木工程或者相关方面的工作。
你要是没啥信心你就让你女朋友带你去halifax，在当地找个C类工作。或者干脆去温尼伯，在当地找个CD类工作。温尼伯那里有个加拿大鹅厂，有手的都要：）

当然你可以说你去卡尔加里也可以走cec，但是cec在整个加拿大哪里都可以走。所以我觉得你去卡尔加里唯一可能的理由只有你的专业在那里特别好找工作。我不太清楚事实是不是这样，但是我认为一般情况下都是经济最发达的安省最好找工作，除非阿省的经济结构特别适合土木工程。

当然如果你的行业在阿省很好就业，就业前景远超其他省份，自然也可以去。你去linkedin和indeed上搜一下岗位数量。就算配偶工签不能省提名，你也可以走联邦cec。
