如果你有美国和加拿大的合法工作身份，那就好找，否则你就不好找。

换句话说，英国CS博士在美国找工作的难易度上，不如那些政治避难，亲属移民的高中生

其实还好 UK学历这边认可, 大厂的工作经验大厂也认可。就是肯定比不上加拿大的工作经验。这边也有一些华人startup肯定喜欢你这种，但wlb就别想了。

海外就业最重要的是什么？不是博士学位，而是签证。

你没有美国的签证，没有加拿大的签证，就算在火星读博士，也和在中国读博士没有区别。

有了签证，和另一个润友说的一样，你就算是一个只有高中学历的，申请庇护下来的签证，就业难度也比博士低一万倍。

了解一下OPT，H1B的流程。还有加拿大的pgwp和LMIA。

你可能会说这是不公平的，但是这个世界就是不公平的。衡水的孩子，生来就和深圳的孩子是不公平的。

此言差矣，在哪个国家读书就拿哪个国家的工作签证，没有比这更公平的了 要是随便一个国家的博士都能随便拿到美国和加拿大的工签，那才叫不公平

In general, Canada only recognizes its own degrees and work experience. However, since your degree is from UK, I think it is okay. Get your Canadian PR through Express Entry. Then look for positions in Toronto. You can land a $70K job.

主要你看看EE打分，phd只比硕士高十几分吧，无法构成显著差距。

你现在就可以准备加拿大EE打分了，一边读博士一边等，拿到加拿大PR之后继续完成学业，等博士毕业直接去加拿大工作。
