jcuavqs· ↗我和我司 HR 以及招我进来的 Manager 1on1 时候专门问过这个，CL 确实没大用，就算是 native speaker 看一个两页长密密麻麻的小作文写自己从小就对计算机 balabala 感兴趣也费力，这又不是申请学校的文书。但别人都有你没有的话也不对，我 manager 建议就是不要写那些假大空的东西，就把得的奖，工作过的公司，Github 上给开源项目做出的 PR, 上架过的 App link 之类列出来，Let the fact speak

jcx0phk·OP· ↗CL写兴趣这些假大空的东西有点图样，而且两页太多一般半页就够了。我的做法是第一段根据job description详述相关经历，第二段简单提一下leadership和volunteer，最后一段写为什么要申请，以及自己和这个公司的connection

jcxt717· ↗你这种有 chatgpt 之后或许还可以，但之前肯定是不行的。除非有能直接给 mgr 看的 referal，其他申请工作基本都是 number game，几百份都是轻的，目标是上千份，一个公司你就算花 15 分钟写上一个文章也是很累的，根本接受不了。
