It's never too late to study a new language. I've studied English for a decade and still make mistakes in grammar every time I type on my mobile phone without Grammarly helping me. However, since we were foreigners to the Westerners they would go easy on us (not when you applying for jobs for sure). So the question here is if you really have the passion to learn English like you've said. If you do, please reply anything even a single word to this comment in Chinese or English to prove your passion for self-learning English. If I were you, at least I would Google Translate advice that people give me.
