我只能从供应端角度说 工程是比较难度的，国外一半的工程学生坚持不到毕业就换专业了。其次工程培养周期长，不像护士社工和IT学个两年就能出来找工作 在澳洲哪怕读授课型硕士的土木也要两年半到三年，这还是在你本科是工科专业的基础上。 多出这半年到一年看着不多，很多人等不及，或是资金承受不住。 还有就是澳洲留学第一大户中国小留普遍喜欢读商科，读工程的很少。
综上所述，最起码从供给端并不会因为西澳给建筑类优先政策就会有较大的供应。

我们公司在澳洲是个建材类公司，目前西澳的发展是为了补齐和东部州的差距。
总体的需求量其实并不大
