B1二月来美，转眼已过了半年了。在5月左右找律师正式提交了庇护。当时还不太清楚可以找绿卡结婚拿身分，同时也谈了一个绿卡女朋友。她说打算捞我倒是没办法，目前也分手了。 疑问如下，在我8月签证到期前，是否还可以转f1身份呢。 花费在3000左右。还有必要，或者还可以转吗。case已经589pending了，也打了指纹，多谢大家

不过现在已经提交了庇护申请，转F1的话有点麻烦，而且花费3000好像不太划算。你现在是589 pending了，说明你已经在走庇护流程了，律师应该会给你一些建议吧，你问问律师，他们应该会更清楚！

ld7k7f7· ↗可以没必要，庇护时间这么长，除非你能在F期间光速找到绿卡女朋友转换身份否则你的行为毫无意义。 庇护时期拿到的工卡一旦启用，F身份自动失效，所以你的F本来就很难保持，我建议你不要思考这条路。除非你是富二代可以一直空耗钱赌一把F身份期间找到绿卡女朋友。 如果你能找到公民女朋友你也不需要维持合法身份，所以你的律师是对的，收益很小投资很大。
