刚一个读MED的贴子，收到莫名奇妙很多负评，不太理解现在加拿大新移民的状态。 MED学校在BC是最高的通过率，达到11.25%，甚至有留学生能申请得到。
对比Waterloo的工科，通过率只有4.3%。
MED school 对有PR的，曾经在加拿大留学的人很难？ 不太理解。这些年的留学生都在快乐上学的状态？
PS，BC是个神奇的地方，医学院申请居然有两位数的通过率。

lgsj3t5· ↗你这对比的就不太一样。医学院基本上都是只有卷王才会去申请，你见过没有高gpa，很强的EC去申请医学院的吗？这里是有 self-selection bias 的。
高中申请大学因为ouac 水loo多大的cs很多人都可以顺手申请了。

lgsklpb·OP· ↗就业环境好的时候，当然没很多人读MED，换以前那年代的笑话，找到工作的医生，都快过更年期了。
现在的话，不好说了。这几天的股灾和美国就业数字，相信很快会影响到加拿大。
我笑我朋友缺得，给18块钱/小时给新码农，他说简历根本看不过来，那怕是这价钱。

现在也还一样啊，med school， residency出来都32了吧。

lgsp1ur·OP· ↗一直很高，问题是现在的职场不乐观。在入门职场找工作，最低层开始打滚几年，也要30了。
32能混出医生的，我没数据，但那怕40，我感觉也是人生赢家了。

lgsr2wv· ↗职场乐不乐观和去不去卷医学院是两回事。一个现在学cs的，在地狱他也没办法去申请医学院，因为他根本就没relevant course or extracurricular. 你要是想去医学院基本上本科就得学lifesci, health sci, bio, Chem 这些。。。
所以说想进医学院要很卷啊。你让留学生去学这个很离谱的。。。先不说大部分有没有这个分，就算有医学院一年才招3000个人。

lgstfev·OP· ↗在QC，都要经CEGEP才到CS（当然，留学生移民的可能大部份没这个要补几门课）。
BSc的CS转MED完全没问题。
没身份的留学生读MED干嘛要。

而且醫科這類supply有限的東東, 比CS這類可以隨時擴招幾倍的穩妥多了.
不去medical, 是不能非不為也.

lgu6ode·OP· ↗没想像中抢手，护士可以说是抢手。加拿大没几个人有钱有耐心去读MED。大好青春泡十年图书馆不是常态的生活观念。
