北美epi老👋🏻可以帮忙看下bg吗

中下985 预防医学（别骂，当时被忽悠瘸了） gpa 3.72 均分 89.73（wes认证还没出 托福和gre正在准备

三段实习：咨询公司两个月，三甲医院四个月，nus ra半年 论文：1篇submitted（但被拒了，不知道这段经历可不可以美化一下），2篇在写 科研：总之就是若干科研大大小小加起来有9段（3段和论文有重叠）

技能：stata，R，spss还有一些画图软件都用过（怎样算proficient呢）

恳请好心人帮忙看一下定位，以及还有什么可以补充的或者申请比较重要的，偏向研究型项目，但担心没学上…

非医学专业背景，就我个人经历和对周边华人的观察而言，你这个GPA、实习和科研还算不错了，申请这些保底学校的硕士没问题，毕竟985。

但你的问题根本不是background，第一你说令尊失业了，还有个二胎小妹妹，家里负担很重；第二，你很想卷博士，但是似乎预防医学这个专业本sub有人不看好。

就我个人经历而言，申请博士一方面是自身素质，另一方面funding确实需要一点运气。另外，如果你担心自己卷的不够万一读不下去的话，真可以考虑欧洲的博士项目，很多人毕业都没啥文章的（当然我不是医学类的）。

其实博士可以在nus这边读，现在跟着的这个教授觉得我还OK，但还是不想放弃准备了这么久的事情

你能拿NUS的phd的話, 比你上面那堆的taught master好多了.

真是能有NUS phd offer的話, 樓主拿來當保底, 放手去申US top 20 or 30的fullly-funded PhD, 再次的也沒有必要去美國了.

正常情況下, 除非你是去英國, 或者一堆窮死的文科學系, phd comes with $$$.

确保有nus的phd我建议不要折腾了，直接在nus读，nus读phd最后去美国的也大有人在，nus的title已经足够硬了，只要你自己水平到位没有任何问题
