lmforqj· ↗原则上，你没有可以进入中国的有效旅行证件（护照、旅行证、回国证明等），则不可以登上前往中国的飞机，否则飞机的承运商会被罚款。
中国政府拒绝接收美国遣返的中国公民，其中最重要的就是拒绝给他们签发有效旅行证件。
我们所说的拿着过期护照进入中国，指的是若你已经到达了中国的某个入境口岸（如中国的机场、中国的陆路边境），则中国不能拒绝你入境。但是没有有效的旅行证件，你原则上连飞机都搭不上，根本到达不了中国的入境口岸。

lmfppxx·OP· ↗明白了，太谢谢您了。。。我们这有一个国际组织，他们可以帮助我们想离开又没有有效旅行证件的人回到自己国家的入境的地方。这是我们移民局官网上的信息“Are you unable to get a travel document? The Repatriation and Departure Service (DT&V) can help you. The DT&V will ask for a replacement travel document (laissez-passer) for you.”，我还在咨询这个laissez-passer是啥，是否完全可替代中国大使馆签发的旅行证件。我感觉应该能平替护照或旅行证。真的非常感谢您这么认真回答我的问题，真的帮了我大忙了，太感激了。。。

lmftv99· ↗Laissez-Passer旅行证件就是中国政府签发的“旅行证”和“回国证明”。这个移民局唯一能做的事情就是请求中国政府给你签发这样一个旅行证件。
