哥们曾经是个北美瘤子，现在是opt混日子的鼠鼠。一年经历了毕业上岸失业，现在靠着熟人能领点儿房租钱能对付日子和opt stem身份，每天除了吃饭公交0娱乐开销，都快自闭了。想左转加拿大phd，发的套磁统统不回。之前谈的集美回国了，今天跟我说要找新的男朋友。工作也是临时工，到了明年一月就终止了。现在感觉自己是纯纯的🤡。

是我该回洼地去接受拷打了吗，身心俱疲。真不想去跟轮子天天上街游行，好歹还是喝过点儿洋cs墨水的，真心拉不下脸。

回国还能靠老登过个小康日子，在美国不能靠老登只能当挂壁大神。再找个村姑，生个小鼠鼠，这辈子有了。😅就算回国刷盘子送外卖也不用交房租，全是生活费。

博士我觉得可以考虑一下美国的，第一种放下身段往排名往后的iowa state，Arizona state这种投，他们也有stipend努努力找个不压榨的组。第二种多投几个国家，你本科如果没学出很喜欢得方向去投那种重产出的组我感觉很难匹配，一问对啥感兴趣做了啥项目，这种感觉不好编。

加拿大学校没回复可能就是效率低，我之前也是defer发个邮件，过了一个月零一天那个系里边负责研究生项目的人才给我回，那个学校的同学说加拿大速度是这样的，地铁一修十年😇

今年工作还是不难找的，感觉市场在回暖。至少加拿大市场我个人感觉不难。美国可能身份原因不sponsor的多吧……（不太了解美国的工签体系）现在秋招还有时间 还能赶上 加油。10月是秋招岗po得最多的时候，到年底的话基本就没啥岗位了。

找工作是非常小马过河的一个问题，而且基本上都只有两个极端，要么能疯狂拿面试/offer，要么什么都拿不到。

按照一亩三分地的说法，美国一直比加拿大好找，但是我很怀疑这是因为加拿大有相当多的人是在无本地经验，无本地教育背景的前提下在找工作造成的。

也是。但加拿大我周围人找工无论是coop还是full time基本没有因为工签原因被拒绝的，但是我本科的大牛学长去了美国之后找工经常会被卡身份。所以我觉得美国看着要更难（当然我没直观感受过可能不准） 加拿大只要规划早，从本科开始弄几个本地coop/intern我觉得毕业上岸不是什么难事，毕竟pgwp都有，不需要sponsor。

这也是我想选择加拿大的原因，我如果美国二硕/phd，到头来可能还是要重新面临一模一样的问题。加的打分系统总好过h1b这种靠运气赌过去的傻逼机制。

damn bro，opt鼠人同勉了，建议别在一个国家吊死，读phd毕竟是短4年长8年的长期决策，为身份考虑换个过得开心点的地方吧，至少找个医保食宿压力不大的地方看看，美国这些州立大学看看，phd产出点文章之后应聘靠后学校的教职至少h1b医疗吃住不愁，备选找牢美结婚。不想待美国了也合理，早日去个拿了身份安稳过日子的地方吧
