大专34有新加坡身份要不要去欧陆重开

之前比较幸运读政府的学校拿了绿卡，但是自己恋爱脑做了几个错误选择，状态很差，从中等生一下子挂了很多课，一激动自己去退学了，也没有保留学籍休学什么的。英文读写都没问题，在新加坡找个糊口的工作租个房间还可以，单身买不了政府的房子，condo又买不起。也不知道这样的生活持续下去有什么意思。

以前一直找不到自己真心喜欢的东西，经过这几年，一边上班一般反思，自己不是那种能做生意的性格，跟开公司的朋友比起来做事情也比较死板，尝试过去调整也真的没什么太大改变，所以想着重新去读一个engineering 方面的，EEE或者IT类的吧。之前回国学过一个月木工，可能是长大以后最快乐的日子了。

本地的政府大学进不去了，想着读这些私立也没什么含金量，所以考虑要不要去欧陆重开。

真心想听听大家的建议。勿喷

不要 欧陆真不是那么好混得 表面上看着不卷 其实都是装的

主要是自己人竞争也挺激烈的。就怕读完回来年纪也比较大了，不好找工作。

如果樓主的訴求是想要一個it或者ee科目的大學學位，而不是為了relocation，那完全沒有需要辭職。

讀個像uni of London之類 online bsc cs就行了

我也在看线上的，但是周围实在没人读过这种线上的，不知道企业会不会认。一搜都是招生的marketing。

看學校. 如果學校okay的會okay.

另一個work around就是拿完了online CS master, 業界認可不夠但學界可以的話, 那拿去申NUS / NTU的碩士就是了.

Gpt 说新加坡有REP, 即使长居在外也可以回去不丢绿卡。这样的话建议读个自己喜欢的专业，欧陆有技术学校，如果你喜欢木工的话。不过新加坡本地没有吗？

新加坡其实也是华人社会，蓝领待遇和受认可度一般。木工暂时算是兴趣了，给朋友做个东西什么的。的确是喜欢技术类的，GPT推荐了比较划算的有德国和Austria.

Given that you received your PR when you were studying, that means you must’ve served NS. Unless you have a special reason not to, go and apply for your citizenship (almost 0 chance of rejection). For Singaporeans, there’s a HDB scheme for you to buy a resale with your foreign parents and it’s extremely easy to qualify. You can realistically buy a 3-room within a year with a ~100K down payment, excluding your citizenship application time (6 months to a year).

At that point, you’ll have rental income on at least 1 room to cover your mortgage. Go and get a private degree in the meantime, preferably in a lucrative field like CS. SUSS has 3 years courses if I’m not wrong. If you follow this timeline, you’ll own your HDB with a stable rental income and a private degree.

Beyond this, the world is your oyster. The States have plenty of options and the SG passport qualifies for a H1B-1 visa which means almost guaranteed work visa. You can even consider returning to China for language focused work considering your strong bilingual background.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I’m familiar with this HDB scheme, as nearly all my friends got their first flat through it after becoming citizens. Since I’m female, I didn’t serve NS. However, you’re right—I'm considering enrolling in a degree program while applying for citizenship at the same time.

还是建议申个公民再说，明年会大选，大选时候提交citizen申请就会卡到大选后批，这样成功率挺高的。否则rep续不了，你这个PR就白拿了。
