同为五眼 美国法定最低时薪7.25（实际大部分蓝州都有自己的最低时薪 红州大部分采取法定最低时薪） 加拿大法定时薪各省不一样最低15（阿尔伯塔） 而新西兰最低时薪 23.5 澳大利亚最低时薪 25 从数值上来看就比美加高了很多，我倾向于是认为澳新的工会更强大所以最低时薪上涨的很快，当然最低时薪太高了也不一定是好处，比如就不易于发展经济，对于当老板的人来说肯定不是一件好事，澳新能叫上名字的大企业甚至还不如加拿大多，而美加最低时薪最低的州恰恰也是经济最好的（德州和阿尔伯塔）但最低时薪高确实对打工人很友好，就是一个没什么技能的普通人来说在澳新就算拿最低时薪也很活得很好，美国则是完全自由市场有多大的能力拿多少的工资当然最低时薪在美国除非是拿小费的服务员要不然基本招不到人，但有最低时薪保护肯定要比没有好的，至于加拿大就不说了靠最低时薪肯定是没法生活的。

所以美国吃饭消费不给小费 人家直接不想服务你，外卖也一样。为什么那么多视频 DoorDash的看到没小费直接发狂，澳洲有最低时薪 外卖员是按公里数算价钱 然后小费是客人随意。 所以相对大家都和气啊。

You never bothered to convert the currency, did you? 23.8 NZD is approximately 14USD, and 25AUD is about 16USD -- none of which differs significantly from the Canadian/blue states' minimum wage.
The real minimum wage is always 0. If the government raises the minimum wage, there's gonna be more people out of their jobs.
