第一个是ESRI，全称经济社会综合研究所，是日本内阁府仿照美国NBER建立的景气动向统计部门，用若干个可以量化的指标，统计经济的一致情况，先行情况，和过去情况。
第二个是短观，是日本银行统计的全国企业短期经济观察调查，每个季度进行调查，对数千个公司直接对雇佣情况，资金状况，经营状况进行问卷调查，可以非常直观的判断目前阶段的经济状况。
