Well, not always. カタカナ is used for certain nouns in a sentence. This helps readers understand the structure of the sentence. Like the capitalization rule in English, カタカナ(Katakana) makes sentences more readable.

其实我一直觉得日语这种发展方向反而是很好玩的,因为如果以英语举例,广泛使用英语的地方常用语的变化往往也是很快的。只有死语才能保证一成不变,越活跃的语言变化往往越快。另外漫画的特殊注音也是挺好玩的,某种程度上是搞了一种多重语义,就好像一个变量有逻辑名称有指代含义还有引用名一样。
